There is no such thing as "buy American" anymore. Tell me ONE product that starts as raw material on this continent, is produced, manufactured and packaged then retailed and distributed entirely on this continent. You'll be there awhile trying to think of something

the point is if walmart was a True American company then they should buy only American products.Plan and simple....

@MrBattlemage777 - It's not realistic that WalMart should stop selling imports, but I would like more balance. Their business model shuts down US businesses or forces them overseas: jobs and businesses are exported, goods are imported. They don't care how their practices affect the well being of the US. The same US Citizens negatively affected by the trade defecit and resulting recession shop there in droves. I don't expect WalMart to change, but I hope citizens begin to shop more wisely.

@marcusreedus balance is good but when it comes to seeing nothing but imported goods coming in the store it makes me want to shop somewhere else do to the fact they could do better.I work overnights at a walmart and Our Organization called Our walmart is going to make changes in the stores not only for the employee's there but for the customers.I agree with you about them shutting down small stores and forcing them overseas thats not right at all.

@MrBattlemage777 Sadly, what Americans fail to realize is that 99% of what is "manufactured" in the US is actually manufactured and produced overseas somewhere. The assemblies will collectively meld off shore till it hits American soil where some overpaid, under worked union slob puts 2 pieces together and slaps on the "Made in America" sticker. Thats not made in America ... thats not even assembled in America. Thats "let other people do the real work and I'll take the credit"

john deer Trackers are 100% American made and that didn't take me a long time to come up with Walmart sends its business to china to pay people 1 dollar a day and thats called slave labor they have been busted before for doing that before.It would make more sence with all the bad aconomy now to make your own suppys ect.

The only reason they buy from china is because their cheap it isn't their fault for selling their goods for a cheaper price than americans

shouldnt the solution be to have american manufacturers sell goods for a cheaper price (unlikely to happen because loss of profit)
