  • Hi Bharath, this is Sugar Brown in Toronto-- i've been out of touch but i just learned you put out the cd with JW: congrats, that's so great! I'll get it asap. I gotta say, your version of Blue Lights is incredible. i fell off the chair when you were blowing the chromatic, and the echo is so wicked, yo! I'm assuming that's still the 47 amp, too? I've been using a blackface super reverb, but i think i need to look at older amps in a big ass way. See you soon in Toronto-- right?

  • Yup, I'm there on the 5th and 6th of January for a Little Walter tribute show at the Silver Dollar ...

  • Does anyone know what mic & amp this harp player is using?

  • Yes,The harmonica player does... haha ... He's using , uh I mean ... I'm using an astatic Jt30 through a 1947 masco MA17 with 4 oval telefunken speakers from the 50's

  • Blue Lights

You play this in Rouyn-Noranda, you said you broke the rules - not to play two slow in a row- but hey! That was sooo good!

  • Hey , thanks man ... We had a great time playin for such a great audience this weekend thank you for bein there !

  • @DrDixonBhD947 Maybe you might see this.......get ahold of Dale at MegaTone Harp Amps or Kim Simmons for the ultimate in Masco rebuilds to the original. These guys specialize in Masco. Kim is in Central/Northern California and Dale is in North Carolina. If you've heard of Mike "Wezo" Wesoloski, well, he's the Piedmont harp player the MegaTone amps are named after.....The Wezo.

  • Bharath that was Smoking ! Dr. Dixon Bh.D here, brother I was born in 09-09-47 you made me proud ! What size are those speakers 6" or 8" ?, how can a cat like me whose been playing for 44 yrs. get that same amp ? ...Always wanted to get one myself

  • You guys have got it down - that old time feeling - and a REAL rhythm section.

  • Usually I am no fan at all of tribute bands, but this is a fantastic job. Keep it up!
