Greyhound bus trip through northern U.S.: (14) Passengers arrested in Erie PA 2010-08-31

Border Patrol officers comb through bus and arrest three undocumented: one African non-American and two Latino non-Americans.

The team of Border Patrol officers awaited the arrival of this Greyhound bus and then asked each passenger getting off the bus and those remaining on the bus if he or she was American. Those replied in the negative were asked to show their passports or alien resident card. The three arrested presumably possessed documents indicating that they had overstayed in the U.S..

The Border Patrol appears to conduct this type of identity-screening interviews only on intercity bus passengers; it does not seem to target passengers on airlines in the U.S..

I am livid over the system that even with health issues, nothing could be done, no provisons in the law before a deportation to become legal to avoid this HELL They let you be sitting ducks!! Since his deportation, I have lost over 15 pounds on my already small frame! This was little over a month! All these people can NOT IMAGINE THE AUNGUISH AND HELL ONE SUFFERS.
