Ex-LA cop-turned freelance journalist, Michael Ruppert, is the subject of Chris Smith's documentary Collapse. Ruppert believes that the world is on the verge of a total collapse, and this is my review.

  • only thing that I didn't like about the movie, seems he buys into manmade global warming. Otherwise he knows his stuff. Lets build a lifeboat! Metaphorically speaking, reminds me of the Arc. Noah, the world is ending, build a boat. Fast forward, Demcad, the world is ending, there's no boat but get in the raft and hold on.....

  • I don't think he even doesn't mention global warming.

  • HEMP NOW!!!

  • I have been reading a lot on Permaculture, and hopefully get my hands on a few acres next year to apply that technique, if I ever move onto that plot, I will be using bio intensive raised beds for veggies, and the trees for fruit, a complete self sustained "farm", so it doesn't matter if there is peak oil, climate change or any of that, one thing is I'll have my own food production that's organic and independent of the grid for me and my family.

  • the world is fucked up and america just goes first like always, europe follows. look how big companies make politics, this is democracy? where lobbysts can change the rules despite the fact for example farmers are grounding?!? if this is as bad here in europe (monsanto) and it will when people have less money like in america i will go on the street.

  • Good Review!

  • All he said was they were happy the ice was melting. And it is melting whether it is global warming or not doesn't matter.

  • @lucasleivia No and you can't buy a black man eather. You can rent both but you might need silver.

  • I have watched Rupert for a while and it seems to me he is wrong on his timing.

  • all the people who take collapse seriously, ill probably will find that they were the ones that survived. its not the end of the world its just the change of our way of life. all you people who wanted to know what 2012 really is wait 2 years and start your fight for survival because guess what all this government/media bullshit will be meaningless when it happens. government is only important when your brain thinks everything is ok, when shit hits the fan the only that matters is survival

  • Good review, but it cracks me up that some people just won't take these matters seriously, The time is going to come when they wished they had.
