Jeff Beck-Crossroads 2007

July 28, 2007 - From backstage at Crossroads 07, a snipet of Jeff Beck's electrifying set.....Female bassist, Tal Wilkenfeld, a 21 yr. old Aussie, was the talk of the festival. Note: John Mayer in black tee with arms crossed offstage freaking out with delight (behind Tay under the rigging...on the left) ... as are all the other guitarists offstage respectfully eating their slice of humble pie.

well, truth is, I wasn't sure if they would mind or not, and since I was taking it with my still camera, it was not too obvious but once staging authorities got closer to me, I didn't want to chance getting grimaces since I was grateful to be there...

I have been playing the guitar for 32 years and have been told by others (I HATE SAYING THIS) that I'm amazing. No I am not, this guy is the one. If you want to hear the player that every rock/blues guitarist should look to for the truth (pun intended lol) here he is. Clapton, Page, Frampton all three hail him as the best, and so do I. Rock On Jeff indeed!

@vanshipman What you say is right ! But the original solo from Spectrum is made by Tommy Bolin and for me one of the best guitarsolo ever. I love Jefff Beck brings the soul of guitarplaying out. First time I saw him in 1977 with Stanley Clark this was one of the best concert ever.I

I would really like it if there is. Clapton did a fine job with the song. I think Jeff

would be just as impressive.
