So then why didn't Mercedes or Porsche bring anything to race the CTS-V?

if you look on the bmw forums the kid who drove the m3 said that after he drove the cadillac around the course that the cadi was the fastest car out there. If he says its faster than why do all these euro trash fanboys still claim the m cars are faster???

Cadillac is just sad.

Get a CTS with a racing driver, that does not mind to total it. Against comum people that if they crash their cars, they are going to have to fix it. A lot more to lose.

The CTS-V is a good car, but it's not on par with BMW's M-Sport Division. An M5, driven by someone who knows what they're doing, will consistently beat a CTS-V in any test. And, yes, a Porsche will destroy a CTS-V because the Porsche is a true sports car. CTS-V is a sports sedan---big difference!

There are certain cars that you don't dare speak of in the same breath as Cadillac, Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini are among them.

There seems to be a few opinions out there about what makes a car better.Rhetoric & BS aside,if you judge a vehicle on what the vehicle does on the track it seems the vehicle with the ability to put the most power to the ground the most effectively should win.Lutz invites manufacturers to compete on track and Cadillac comes up on top.Seeing the hits these vids are getting after 2 years the competition isnt worried.

@thuglife4ever721 been 3 years now bud; still waiting... no release date. but i'm sure the new M5 will have 1400HP, brake 100-0 in 14 feet, pull 4.5Gs in the turn without losing traction, and do a 0-60 in 0.4 seconds........right. still waiting.

I think the porshes have the only chance against the cts'v right now.

because they are so small, they will have better agility (in the corners). And they usualy pack a nice enough engine in the bay.
