I was once told, by a very wise lady, "Trying is the first step toward failing". I attempt to take her advice (and the advice of others) to heart, and make it a bit easier on myself. Your results may vary.

  • i swear, nowadays it seems the MAJORITY of flicks i click here are removed for violoation blah blah blah. heh. your vids are fun to watch. do you have a comprehensive equipment list? is there any instrument you dont have and or play? how 'bout a mouth harp? twang twanga twang, + a kalimba + banjo *giggle*

and "inner FISH??" *scoffs disdainfully* strange reading for bears and dolphins o.O hahahaha

  • No list - I do a lot of trading up, down and across, though.

Don't yet have a sitar or a bassoon... I'm awful at harmonica...

Mouth harp, kalimba, and 5 string banjo are go!

And while it weirds me out to think that I once had gills, I was in the womb at the time and therefore wasn't terribly inconvenienced by it. :)

  • Copyright laws are so stifling that half the time, I don't even pay attention to them. A few times I made the mistake of actually crediting the creator of the music I've used in my video, only to have that credit used to track me down and only speed up how quickly I was "punished".

These days, I use as much free music as possible (Renard usually doesn't care that I use his stuff, so I try to as much as possible) and just cross my fingers the rest of the time.

  • Renard truly "gets it"; he's already figured out the new paradigm.

The laws, as I keep reminding myself, aren't there to complicate our lives (although that's what inevitably results); they exist to protect the rights of the copyright holders. My intention here is NOT to rip off Steven Greenberg in any way! I'd love it (and he'd probably love it too) if I can figure out a way to get him compensated for what is undisputably his creation.
