@mercutiana Hi again. I know the italian name is Petrarca, that's actually how we spell it in my country as well. I just finished "La Vita Nouva" earlier today (believe it or not, I read "La Divinna Commedia" first) and now I'm reading "il Canzoniere" and trying to find the perfect sonnets for what I want my essay to show. I hope I don't get too sleepy because I really want to have it done (or at leas to have have some key ideas) by tomorrow.

@LuthienAlexandra omg! Yeah, that's one of the most important connection in the medieval Italian litterature! Dante and Petrarca (that's the Italian name ;)) are the fathers of our Litterature. And I simply love them!
If you want to hear the Commedia in Italian, I recommend you Benigni's public lecture in Florence!

@mercutiana are you serious? I'm in my second year of college and I've been studying Dante ever since the first. Now I actually have to make an essay in which I have to connect Dante's Beatrice to Petrarch's Laura. Great poets, both of them.

From best to least best. All these are good, but from best to least best it is:
1. Dante Gabriel Rosetti
2. Mark Musa or Barbara Renyolds
