G'day GunSmoke16610, Gage makes an awesome tactical gladius but its not really designed for chopping. The straight parallel sides and the triangular tip primarily made for it to be a stabbing/thrusting weapon (in line with the roman shield tactics of the legions) rather than a chopper.
That's not to say it wont chop, hell, even a kitchen knife could be used to chop wood, but that isn't its main function;)

Hey man u should look at the DPX2.0 folder HEST... That shit is crazy strong built almost like a hinderer , strider..... Please check it out .. Field test and abuse it I dare u!!!!

If the military ever decides to bring swords back on the battlefield, it would most likely be of this design; especially for urban combat.

@jccp10 Thats a thought although its uncommon to have a lanyard on a sword. Do you have a method of attaching a lanyard you can suggest? There is not lanyard hole.
