Looks like Rwy 6L, do not see this often. This pattern is very rarely used throughout the year, except during and after winter storms that produce offshore winds. Nice vid.

Nice! LAX is my main airport and I love the takeoff over the ocean, but haven't been lucky enough to experience a landing over because winds are always normal during my approaches.

I have landed in this direction on an overnight flight landing very early in the morning from Honolulu.

All the years I've flown in and out of LAX I've never used the reverse pattern. I know they land on 6R after midnight for noise abatement purposes, but still take off on 25R on the other side

ooooo, the reverse approach at LAX. As mistaphill stated below, this is pretty rare.
I dont think that is lax,if it is than that is cool but i dont think it is.
