walter, the computerized voice what scanner frequencies is that on? I have my scanner programmed with most of the NS signals, but never hear that.

Thanks, The detectors are on the same mainline frequencie the crews transmit on. 160.950 I believe

Merry Christmas Pwalpar! Cool video. When I was in Barstow on Monday, I saw a UP come to a quick stop. A grinding noise was coming from one of the wheels of one of the cars that was towards the end of the train. This train was over 100 cars long, so it took the crew a while to reach the back. I also saw some UP workers. I didn't film this, but it reminds me of your video. Good job!
