@MegaAnchorite It seems to me that you are missing what the Christian faith is all about. Christ died to save sinners from all walks of life, including pirates. Patch is a saved pirate who preaches the gospel to the unsaved, and the importance of godly living and godly character to the saved. What happened to those people delivering Bibles was a terrible tragedy, but Patch has been around for years.

@Joybee808 I come from a pastors home in SC. We have used Patch the Pirate and listened to him for mannnny years. He has ALWAYS been a great blessing to us and I praise God for Majesty Music. I listened to Patch, my kids listened to patch....and the generations move on. But those stories will always remain real in my mind. God has greatly blessed Ron & Shelly and I know that will continue!

I come from a family of fundamentalist Christian missionaries to Brazil. We are happily serving the LORD here. My mom (with my dad's help) has translated many Ron Hamilton songs and Christmas cantatas to Brazillian Portuguese. Christ has touched many lives here in Brazil through Ron Hamilton's music. It's so hard to find Christians with good Biblical musical standards (not just in church but in our everday lives ) Praise the Lord for Patch the Pirate !(Patch o Pirata in Portuguese) =)

Patch the Pirate has been a blessing to us and it's all because of the way God has blessed him with the music he has written about God and His Word, let us not say bad things about this man of God. God used Bro. Ron and Mrs. Shelly and is still using them till this day. I personally praise God for what he has allowed them to do through the years. @wfl19 Uhh actually I have, and theres nothing wrong with it (the actual music) but it's the hypocrisy that is coming from many of these anti comtemporary people when it comes to "softening it up" for the kids

How can anyone watch this video and point a finger at this man and say his heart or motives are wrong. Secondly, have any of you heard any of his music? It focuses many times on christian, character building attributes. To focus on his characters name, and the thing he wears is to fully miss the message he represents. It seems "contemporaries" usually focus on the inside and fundementalists on the outside. Maybe we should all just take a step back and look at the fruit the man has produced.
