Microsoft founder BIll Gates has spend the last 18 years giving away his billions. He talks to Matt Lauer about the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's progress, saying its vaccine effort has contributed to eradicating polio around the world, but there is still much more to be done.

@MrChunky619 instead of competing, we should be sharing ideas and trying to make the rest of the world equal in education, because out of the 1/3 of earth that is in poverty, or uneducated, they are surely going to bring a well needed change to the world

While I still agree with your points, I still think it's better to invest in the country you live in first, then worry about the rest of the world. I only say this because I love having the good kind of arguments that don't involve lots of mudslinging and namecalling. Also, why are there three videos off in the recommended's that involve bill gates and depopulation.. is that just me?

Hmm... spend 10k on a lone developer or starving children suffering from Aids, diseases, dehydration and more. Sure he has a lot of money to spend, but the money he decides to donate, he donates to the best possible cause. Sure, a lone game developer has a dream to create it and see it be enjoyed, but the people Bill is helping may not even have dreams, they don't have opportunities, they're stuck and the only focus they have is to survive. We take the things we have for granted.
