I created a DNA model in Blender 3D 2.45 for a school assignment at St Peter St Paul.

It took me around 8 hours to build and is quite detailed however the animation is poor and you can't see the detail of the base pairs of the sugar phosphates.

  • I gues it was okey in a scientif sort of way but im looking how to build a dna model with 5 bases for my science project

  • Do you mean 5 base 'pairs' as there are only 4 base pairs in DNA: Adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine?

  • Thanks, if you ever wanna use it in a presentation or anything that will be fine.

  • It's really nice, well done! How did you export the video for downloading it here?

  • Excellent! Such attention to detail! And just what I was looking for :)
