Are people treated differently in Maricopa County because of the color of their skin?

A crime suppression sweep is an operation conducted by the Maricopa County Sheriffs Department, which consist of flooding an area with Sheriff Deputies and armed volunteer posse members. The objective of these operations is to detain as many undocumented immigrants as possible. The strategy is to detain anyone and everyone with any sort of small fault, for example, broken taillights, cracked windshield, a headlight out and any other reason they can come up with. The result of crime suppression sweeps, as you see in this video, is US citizen and US permanent residents being racially profiled and unnecessarily harassed.
