how do you get the video off it?

nice video but audio sucks !

That is too cool! I am working on building a submersible ROV with wireless camera. You make it look so easy with all of the great detail on that the wires do. I saw where the x10 wireless protocal is out there, but it's over my head. Can I replace the wireless output with a generic device and receiver to accomplish my goal? I want the receiver the plug into the video in on my laptop, since the camera will be underwater. Thanks!

You would want to google search for something along the lines of "portable pvr". PVR = personal video recorder. Make sure it has a composite video input and is compatible with NTSC standards (ie not PAL).

Thanks for posting this. Im recently thinking of buying a 4 X10 cams for my house. Good to know I can use them for other things if I decide to. Just curious how you would record the video if you use it on a helmet. With the home surveillance system it will go through my PC
What video? the main video or the finished camera?

Wow yer right!..
But it was wireless, but was wired as it plainly shows in the video(s) for use with a digital video recorder.
Thanks for the comment.
