I'm wondering if Kang is using melodies from the Pays d'Anjou for his basic structures, or what the musical connection with the people from this region the song might have?

If i understand rightly what Andegavenses mean, he makes reference to the people that came from the region called nowadays "Pays d'Anjou" (Andégaves, Andécaves or simply Andes, and Andecavil in latin), it is 30 minutes from mine by train. Its chief-town is "Angers". I'm pleasantly surprised because I was wondering fortuitously the meaning of this song title.
Great song from a savant musician.
