I can see why BA service in SD is intermittent. It probably costs more for the escort service, and the inconvenience of having an insufficient taxiway? This city will NEVER upgrade airports or stadiums, and it's a shame because it's under-utilized.

@hmwawasi It's actually Airport Services escorting the plane because of its size in relation to the width of SAN's taxiways. They do this nightly when the plane leaves as scheduled.

I saw this plane on Friday morning and was wondering what happened. BA had to keep another 777 parked overnight on September 8th because of the San Diego blackout. I feel bad for the people who were expecting to fly out on BA272 only to have it cancelled.

i remember when brithish airways used to come to melbourne but it was only the 747-400's never the 777-200ER's, anyway great job.
