Eritrea is one of the most repressive regimes in the world. Helen Berhane, a gospel singer, was long detained in a shipping container because of her faith and music. In this film she testifies at the Lowlands festival, Netherlands. Amnesty International campaigns for the release of thousands of prisoners of conscience.[Tigrinya subtitles]

all christians arent persecuted in eritrea, its evangelism that is outlawed, it is considered a foreign and modern religious practice by the overwhelming majority of eritreans, allegations of foreign governments infiltrating these church groups have been made, they also refuse to partake in national military service. I am not trying to justify the oppression of these ppl, but its better to be honest about the situation, rather then paint dramatic pictures to bolster anti eritrean sentiment.
