Does anyone else think this little foal threw that huge fit just because of that little bit of white material? bahaha, he looked more like a little fawn than a foal!
@liveloveride97 yes, that foal is brand new and momma is still sore from the birth; it is so touching to watch...the mare is battling two instincts: fight off pain causing activity and not harming her baby...the leg might come up but she will not kick...mothering wins every time!
@louisehuh Yes there is. Even if there wasn't any, They are still being fed very well. Tons of horses live in paddocks without grass, they are fed a rich diet of hay and grain.
@louisehuh horses aren't allowed free access to feed, less they founder or develop deadly colic. Most are hay feed alfalfa and timothy blened hay two to three times a day. the presence of grass growing on the ground doesn't matter- they aren't skinny.
btw, you schould put that little gry colt into the rodeo. i think Buffalo Bill would have a hard time riding him
