@XRS975 i ordered neoprene boots(surfer boots) from amazon to go over my sock waders. i ordered 3 sizes up and they work great. only about $35 good luck

Question for you guys with waders...do any of you own waders with stocking only? If so, do you wear boots outside of the pants or do you have to tuck them in? I can't picture wearing separate boots and getting water in them unless yuou tuck them in, but how can you do that with the stockings being part of the wader? looking to get one myself.

Heading back to Sandy Hook this Sunday again. Caught a short 21" striper with an AVA last Monday - was so foggy, couldn't see 100 ft ahead of you.

@XRS975 It was in the Fall. The location was the 1st parking lot and the wind was offshore. There was bait everywhere, All day long. I was usin a Lex Danni Plug, Yellow in color. As soon as it hit the water it was game on. By the time I was done fishing my plug was down to the bare wood. Good Luck & Tight Lines.

Wether its Bass or Blues any blitz is awesome. You really cannot go wrong with nice Blues all day long. In the fall of 2005 myself and 2 buddies were into Stripers all day long. They were all fat Bass, All the way up to 30 + pounds, Thank god for that TICA rod. A day you cant forget. This was on Sandy Hook, Ocean side evey with the Rt. 36 Bridge. I took 1 Bass home & upon cleaning I had counted 63 Peanut Bunker in the belly. Great post, Thanx, NJTiderunner
