This one is VERY unusual. It is an Abell elevator, fitted with vandal-proof fixtures. But...weird thing is that it serves all floors (G, 1, 2, 3), but when it goes up, the indicator goes from G to 1...then it stay there for few seconds. Then, it went to 3, skipping number 2! I was surprised to see that. Second, I believe this is a traction elevator instead of hydraulic bc it is too fast for hydraulic and I could hear cable running so, it could be a traction elevator
OMG. I see a simplex thing on the elevator

Which one? You meant my video?

Now I think about it, the first one was a Fujitec, and the second I believe was a Montgomery.

Huh, that's pretty interesting. Very odd though

I haven't seen that. Anyway, a few years back there was some construction on the second floor at Duke Hospital. An elevator I was in (Don't know who made it) skipped 2, so that's where I came up with that explanation. On the other hand, the fifth floor of a hotel in Raleigh was flooded. The indicator in that elevator (Don't know that manufacturer either) didn't skip 5, but if one pushed 5, it would light while being held down, but go out after taking the finger off.

eh, I dunno. Most position indicator like that tend to do that when going up or down. It's pretty common
