Phonics Fingerplay from A to Z

Phonics Fingerplay demonstrated by a group of 7 to 8 yo kids.I ran a small phonics teaching trial on the little ones years ago. The video was in fact taken 3 years ago. It was my students' 2nd year of learning English with 2 classes per week. They were 7 to 8 years old then. Weren't they cute? They are all big kids now. Time really flies, doesn't it? This Chant is from Wonderland, Kids Castle - red cover book. The concept of all the TPR movements I made up was basically by connecting the sounds of Mandarin and Taiwanese, as well as our culture and habits with the alphabetical letter sounds. It did help kids memorize all the letter sounds easily. The kids did enjoy learning phonics as you can see here. Some of my students even told me that they taught their English teachers at language schools. This small phonics teaching trial worked then. It is still working now. I am very proud of it.
