I disagree. Monopolies (state and private) are the worst thing. Shortages, poor quality and little choice result. Only free competition in the supply of water, private property rights and zero state meddling will provide water. Prices ration scarce resources well when not manipulated. The state commissars cannot ration as well as billions of individuals. That's my 2 cents anyway.

Its different when you can't drink the tap water.
Try living under these conditions and then call it bullshit.
Water is a huge issue and is no laughing matter...so many people die because of tainted water across the globe.
Clean water is taken for granted...

This is a world-wide problem, but bless the Turks for getting aggressive about it.
I live in San Diego County, California,which is basically a desert. Now we have 3 million people in SD County, and the water situation is getting grim.
Water and Sewer charges are taking up 10% of my monthly income. And that doesn't include drinking water. I go and fill my own bottles from a machine for drinking water.
