Great stuff!!!
how does the 4dj store its analysis files? Let's say i have a few Tracks analyzed on a usb stick. can i then copy these files on a different usb hd and use the hd straight away, or will the 4dj have to analyze again?
2 channels is fine for me... i really wished for an audio in though. don't need fancy stuff. i prefer a simple, reliable system with good stuff. a return send does more for me than development of new effects!
what exact kind of sound interface is build in? somehow

@160RRR
Once the tracks are analyzed a file is written to the drive. As long as you move that file to the new drive with the analyzed tracks they won't have to be analyzed again.
However, if there are any tracks that haven't been analyzed that are already on the new drive you are moving your analyzed stuff too those tracks would have to go through the process of being analyzed.

At first I though this was a cool little unit - kind of an expansion of the Numark D2 idea, with a mixer.
But having just read the manual I'm not so sure.
There's no librarian s/w with this, so you have no choice but to let the SCS4DJ do the song analysis. This is done in 1/5 real time, so about one minute per song. With my library, that works out at around THREE WEEKS of continuous analysing before it's done!
Hopefully it saves the data on the attached drive.....

The SCS.4DJ needs to analyze songs as would any other DJ software to ensure proper use of waveform and BPM related loops and effects.
So, you may want to load the most important songs onto a drive and analyze those first and then build the database by adding as needed. Either that or give yourself plenty of time to analyze your complete library before DJ-ing.

@StantonDJ4Life "plenty of time" - there's an understatement!
Why is there no PC software, so that the hard work can be done by a machine with more guts?

Your expansive music library is well beyond the norm as compared with typical purchasers of a SCS.4DJ! (if your 3-weeks are accurate). Unfortunately at this time there is no “offline tool” that you can use a regular computer to analyze music files for the SCS.4DJ.
As suggested earlier, you can prioritize your collection and analyze in batches over time. Remember, you can still DJ with unanalyzed music, but you'll get limited functionality (no waveforms, no looping... ).

Continued....
But, do keep an eye on the Stanton DJ website and forums for updates. And yes the data is automatically stored to your hard drive so make sure you have at least 20% space left to safe this data. + You can also use a separate drive(s) to read and record.
