  • Greshams Law applies to ideas as well as Money. More power to this gentleman's elbow. may he help to elbow the crap out of science.

  • As a boy interested in science in the 1950's and as a engineering student in the 1960's I was in awe of what a wonderful institution we had in the CSIRO. My uncle was a research scientist with CS in the field of ceramics. His work helped Australia stay at the forefront in that field of technology as did that of his colleagues in other fields. I am devastated to know that this once-fine institution has sunk to the depths described by Dr. Raiche. Ivan Wainwright, retired civil engineer

  • Well said by Dr Raiche, it is all of what I suspected!

  • "childoforwell"..ironic name :) ..Dyson was not being cherrypicked..like the hockeystick(2 ironies in one comment from you)

Tried to post links to dyson who condemns CAGW but yt will not let me post links.please research the topic before posting.thanks

  • ChildrenOfOrwell.... Perhaps you should be less confrontational and listen to what Dr Raiche said.

  • Just to take a note, why is it okay to call names and slam those of us who believe in climate change as ignorant and bigoted or know science, when your 'hero' Freeman Dyson states quite clearly that he is in support of anthropogenic climate change being real and synonymous with current use of 'climate change'. You're cherry-picking what he is saying in support of your inflammatory speech when his whole point was that people should be less confrontational and hysterical about dissenting views.

  • Great speech. Shame we'll never see it on the ABC.
