This video is about the growing number of families who become homeless as a result of generational poverty and drug addiction. The Esplanade House is a transitional supportive housing program that takes a unique approach to breaking the tragic cycle that traps families and robs children of their childhood. It is owned and managed by Community Action Agency of Butte County, Inc., and funded in part by the Esplanade House Children's Fund, a 501c3 non-profit that supports the on-site Child Development Center. This project was designed and developed over 20 years, through a collaboration of local caring people, service organizations, and partnering agencies .
