Ruth Nemzoff was a feminist even as a child when she noticed that there were no women in the legislature in her home state. She vowed to become a politician, which she did when she lived in NH. She later got her PhD and became a professor, then became a Visiting Scholar at Wellesley College and at Brandeis University. Her book, Don't Bite Your Tongue, chronicles her interviews with many parents of adult children who agonize over how to relate to their offspring in an authentic way. Publishing her book ushered Ruth into yet another adventure -- lecturing all over the world, a skill she's had since her youth and one she dearly loves.
