The game story wise is actually pretty good and the gunplay is far better than that which was in the first game, but that boss scenario was enough to make me dislike many of the forced game mechanics. While yes, the whole brain exploding this was probably a hallucination it still was a bit extreme and kind of broke the atmosphere and expectations that were set with the build up of the first levels.

I still think the first one is the best, but 2 had that epic bear scene.

Condemned 1 and 2 had a lot to do with hallucinations. This is just The Magic Man putting specific hallucinations in your head.
