It is also a tool to help bring about a better world, esp. for use of busy people(for only 5 min. each day). TGI mobilizes the energy of goodwill within humanity to establish Right Human Relations everywhere,which is an essential element towards World Peace.

The suspicions people have of the Lucis Trust are valid. The Lucis Trust seems overly enthusiastic to work within the established governments of earth to somehow bring about heaven on earth. How they wish to do this is rather vague. Alice Bailey created the Lucifer Publishing Company and changed it to the Lucis Publishing Company in the 20's. I haven't found out why she chose that name but I'd advise anyone to "test the spirits" in regards to their mission and vision. God bless you...

I'm amazed at all the negative criticism about an invocation so full of goodness, divine will and love, especially by so called religious folks who are bound by their own presumptions and pre-conceptions of what 'God' or 'Christ' is about. Without their religious presuppositions and indoctrination...they would see what the actual words mean in this prayer, and see its value and application. Get a grip folks......

it is sad that something so beautiful is derided by those who understand it not. While I may not agree with all that those with different beliefs than mine may post I would never target their online expressions with ugly vitriol.

I hope we can agree that humanity needs our prayers at this time more than ever and as the Invocations states, that we ALL desire Christ's return to earth.

@artimusification The want us to recite this prayer. To recite a prayer over and over makes it a mantra. Jesus taught us not to pray with vein repition like the pagans do, thinking that they will be heard for their much speaking. This "prayer" is clearly not of God.

How did Jesus teach us to pray? He taught us the "Lord's prayer". Jesus never taught us any great invocation. This invocation was channeled(witchcraft, something Jesus never allowed) by Bailey. They want us to visualize a triangle while reciting this "mantra" (in the occult world, the triangle is often used as a doorway for demonic spirits). This is an invocation to Demonic spirits.

Today the new age movement denies that Jesus is the son of God. They teach instead that Jesus is an ascended master one of the many, just another prophet, an enlightened being. They teach a christ conciousness. The jesus they are refering to is the jesus of the aqaurian gospel.
