Uploaded on Dec 8, 2009

On Sunday, December 6, 2009, Naomi and I took Colin to Franklin Park in Santa Rosa, California and for the first time he rode his bicycle without training wheels. We saw a cycle cross race there the day before and Naomi suggested we bring him out. He tried last year in our back alleyway, but he had a hard time balancing. Over the past 6 months though he has really picked up the kick scooter, which helped with his balance. Uncle Derek gave us the idea to do it at the park on grass for a nice soft landing, but Colin didn't really need it. He was so ready to ride a bicycle and it showed with with him riding for quite awhile without crashing. We are so proud of you, Colin.

Thanks to Grandpa Allan for the Trek Mountain Cub bicycle for his 5th birthday.

That's awesome. My 5 yr old daughter is watching this and waiting for the snow to melt so she can copy Colin. Thank you for your awesome video.

She'll be great. Enjoy the experience. As a father it was one of the high points of my life. Thank you, peace.
