Yes, the LDS Church should get the FLDS to stop. While we are at it, we should also get the Vatican to excommunicate pedophile priests. We should also convince Hamas and hezbollah to stop suicide bombing attacks. If you can't see the differences between LDS and FLDS, then..........wow.

LDS keeps a respectful distance from FLDS for the sake of deniability, but that's just to fool the public.

Maybe you want to hear what the senator had to say about meetings with President Hinkley at the time. Polygamy was ignored and abuses continued because of it.

If you don't like the titles go get those LDS attorneys and we will make a HUGE story out of the truth that keeps getting denied!

If you put the doctrine side by side, it will be 80% the same, same stories, same prophets, same discourses! Polygamy, Blood atonement and the Negro Race are the largest issues that are different!

fincenMIB: The two churches may have some similar doctrines and origins, and I'm not denying that, nor is that the issue at hand. The LDS church does not practice polygamy and hasn't done so for over a century. Anyone in the LDS church who practices it is firmly disciplined, and if s/he continues, is excommunicated. (Read: No longer LDS.) Ergo, FLDS and LDS churches are in no way "peas in a pod". They are two separate and distinct entities, and again I request that you correct the title.
