Oh that's allright, waleed later hugged Bashar Assad.. But anyway, Israelis understand why. If the lives of the Druze are under risk, they will have more then moral support: Most likely they will be allowed into Israel, under the same terms Druze live in Israel today (100% full citizenship, serving in the IDF). The Druze are our brothers in arms even before 1948.

Israel was NEVER going to stay in Lebanon. They achieved their aims, and then withdrew. They were suprised at the fact that Hizbollah had the latest, most advanced anti-tank weaponry from Russia, that was not expected and is an intelligence failure. The sooner South Lebanon is liberated by the Maronite Christian Militias (who can then shell whomever they choose whilst under the protection of the IDF's long range artillery) the better.

@jacobk2 i agree with you that Israel is being attacked and have a right to defend it self , but the truth ...the plain truth from the mouth of the Israeli generals , writers , and even public opinion ....the IDF retreated from southern Lebanon because of so much Hezbollah attacks ...please Google it ..read about it ...it's just a fact .

@Dontouchmyipod Hezbollah. Did nothing. Israel withdrew on its own. But look what they received for it. War and the potential for an even greater war. Of course why was Israel there in the first place-because of its citizens being attacked.
