i dont have vinegar..is it a nessary?

@snowman358 - You can leave it out. It just adds a little bit of sour to balance out the sweet, but it isn't absolutely necessary. If you don't want it so sweet, leave out the sugar if you don't add vinegar.

@lynnsrecipes and the celery salt,and the mustard are those nessary? can i add prepared yellow mustard like u use for hotdogs and i dont have celary salt

@snowman358 - You can take this recipe and adapt it to your taste. That is the cool thing about cooking. If you don't care for something in a recipe you can leave it out and if you prefer something else, add it. Sometimes you have to experiment to get it just right, but that is the fun. Most slaw recipes call for celery seed and I don't care for that, so I just substituted the celery salt. I have seen recipes with regular mustard, so I say go for it and see how you like it!
