Maschine House Liveset in Ableton with Kontrol X1

A small house set made by me and played on the Maschine hosted in Ableton Live. Just got the Kontrol X1 and the Novation Launchpad so haven't mapped them yet. Let me know what you think of it:)

how do you remap your x1 i just dont understand it at all i cant work it out ableton just doesnt recognise any midi signal

Make sure you are in MIDI mode/ Press shift + Hotcue. If the hotcue button is green, you are in midi mode. In Traktor go to controller manager and select your X1 as in and output. Now you can start mapping.

if the maschine is linked via re wire then surely you could run traktor as well?

Its the "Launchpad" from Novation. A midi controller designed for Ableton Live. As I said earlier I just got this thing when I made the vid so I haven't mapped it very well yet. In this vid only two effects in Ableton are mapped on the Launchpad. Further on I use it one time to mess with the panning.

Now I have mapped the Launchpad as a 4 channel mixer in Traktor, I soon will post a vid of a short mix in traktor with the X1 and the Launchpad.

Very good!!! I have a question man: I'm considering to buy an X1, to use with ableton also. So, in the midi mode, do you have some sort of banks or scenes of knobs/buttons, or can you use each knob/button only once? How do you find X1 to use with ableton? Do you recommend any other controller instead of that? (I like the look of X1, leds and build quality) Cheers!!
