  • I trust no politician but Jesus Christ. As a disciple of Christ, I refuse to get involved with politics and voting. I separate myself from human government to follow Him. I don't do governmental fundamentalist christendom stuff except preaching the gospel.

  • @Jtaylor1 So you think it's wrong to be involved in your govt? Just pass the buck to someone else and let them handle it?

  • I believe in Ron Paul and his voting record speaks for itself. The Republicans try to write him off as this zany old man with radical ideas. That alone should tell you all you need to know. The fact that his own party is afraid to give him a spotlight.

  • @marvenp I don't understand why ppl say that they don't give him the spotlight; he's run for the nomination several times and run for Pres. once already. I think he's gotten many chances to win over the American voters, but it just hasn't happened for him. Maybe he needs to just continue to work from his strength in the Senate; that's who really makes the Laws anyway.

  • I trust Rand and Ron Paul. I don't trust anyone who covers for Federal Reserve printing trillions of dollars in secret. Printing trillions of dollars is one thing... Printing trillions of dollars in secret is a whole other ball of wax.

  • @TheArcaneSanctum yes, I think we can all agree that it needs a major overhaul.

  • @obamamaniacs In the least maybe they can get these apathetic politicians motivated enough to change this messed up system.

  • @TheArcaneSanctum We are sure hoping that OccupyWallstreet is going to lead us all in the right direction. It's imperative to our survival as a country.

  • @obamamaniacs I do not think most of us who support Dr. Paul expect a single man to be able to do all that he wants to do nor does Dr. Paul, the more realistic approach is to work together to lay the ground work so meaningful change can occur, much of the legislation that would be needed could in fact find bi-partisan support.

I would also point out that the recent occupy wall street protests can and will do a great deal towards changing the current status quo's mindset on these issues.

  • @TheArcaneSanctum I think ppl believe this, but I don't see it happening. If he happened to get elected; he'd need more than just his own hand/will to change the structure that the monied classes have been putting in place for the last 70 or so years. He'd need the consent of Congress and the Supreme Court to even abolish the Federal Reserve. I doubt it's going to happen. They're bought and paid for.
