I ride a 19hh Belgian. and I only use one mounting block. Oh and I'm taking him to my first horse show. I love the horse so pretty.

Ive got a 17 hand blue roan TB x Paint cross who turned 3 in February and I have to have 2 mounting blocks to get on him... LOL Cant imagine how you managed with this guy. Good job and nice video! :)

Im getting ready to train one. He is clam and pretty mannerly so I figured about just start riding him? I dont have a draft sized birdle but I do have a halter. Do you think this os ok? what would his reaction be? PS I have a horse and he is really jumpy, I would never just hop on my horse for a first ride but Clyde is so calm its rather tempting.)

i want one so bad... but hopefully i can get one when i move out of my parents place... i would just need a ladder to get on and off him and id be happy(:

@AdamsApple1963 you get on them the same way you would any other horse mounting block or not...we show our clydes in cart classes, barrel racing and all the contesting stuff and jumping i have videos up. They feel very similar to a light horse for riding

I have a beaut she is an 18hh jet black Clydesdale called Cassie and i love her to bits love her so much my world would end if i lost her like i lost my old Exeter boy but i will never let that happen

WOW! That is the first time I've ever seen someone ride a Clyde! I've only ever seen them pull carriages, just like in the Budweiser ads. By the way, how did you manage to MOUNT on top of that horse?

This is my sister-in-law Kelly. I was taping it. The horse is her mom's carriage horse that lives on thier farm (not boarded). All of thier other horses are spotted drafts.
