@phati129 There is unity of belief. Lex orandi lex credendi. All Eastern Orthodox churches have the same Divine Liturgy. There is no Protestantized Novus Ordo Mass without organic development set alongside an "extraordinary" Mass that follows Latin tradition. Many Eastern Catholics besides do not accept 21 Ecumenical Councils, do not believe in Papal Infallibility, etc.

no the saints constantly refer to the Church as catholic even before 1054. the first being in around the year 99 or 104 by the earliest of the church fathers. St. John Chrysostom constantly refers to the Catholic church. before you start ranting and saying alot of BS like u know something, read a book. i havent seen the numbers 1054 repeated so much since EVER! get ur facts straight, become educated in a university that teaches what the Church was and is then argue until then respect your tounge

and thats why there is no unity in orthodoxy. one bishop can say whatever he wants. look at the monks on athos for God sakes, quit your ranting. At least in catholocism there is unity among all the churches and not just claims of it. The patriarch of constantinople can say one thing and the primate of china can say another. no unity...

u are no better than protestants since they claim sola scriptura, u claim sola tradicio! you need to bear in mind that both Catholic and Orthodox bishops consider eachother as direct descendants of the holy Apostles. and the orthodox church has changed since 1054, the structure and vernacular has changed to name one. so stop hating and start loving in Jesus' name.

You're not even listening to what they are saying, just judging people based on appearance. What are they saying? They are asking God to bless the person. They're not worshiping him. To worship something means to regard it as God - which these people are not doing.

you catholics hawe a great pride , because you do not recognise because of the fear that you might loose believers , that you made some mistakes !! Pride is from the Devil !! yes greeks had pride too , but they did not change the dogma !!
