Quick question. I noticed that you're using a capo and was wondering if you were using a capo on your 5th string as well.

@aestusx Hi there I do believe I'm using a railroad spike to "capo" the drone string. That was an older banjo and I can't remember for sure.. but I think that's the case.

I know you're a busker and all but have you ever considered filming a tutorial video? Money to be made there with a sound like yours my friend. If you're ever coming though the Bay Area let me know, love to see you live.

@shinboxer72 Thanks for the kind words. I've been asked before to teach and make a video tutorial but frankly I don't have a clue how to teach. I've always been self taught and am a rather idiosyncratic type, which doesn't seem to translate to making money and being successful, etc. Maybe someday I'll have built up enough experience to offer beginner lessons on frailing / clawhammer / and teaching basic old time songs. But right now I just don't have the confidence. Cheers!
