@SamWiseGingy You need to explain why they're irrational. It's a rudimentary concept of debate.

@SamWiseGingy Define natural biological processes.

@Echobuns I have read plenty of Christian apologetics. I am not ignorant of your arguments. I have yet to find a "rational believer" or a rational defense of the Bible. Are there any authors that qualify in your judgment under that standard?
You are presuming that if their is a flaw in your opponent’s position then your position must be correct.
As to explaining reality which is the better explaination of death and disease? Sin or natural biological processes.

This comment concedes the point that "faith" is not rational.
If that point is allowed then it follows necessarily that "believers" are irrational.
Irrational people are immune to reason and therefore "believers" have no way to measure the truthfulness of their beliefs.
Their only arguement is the effect of the their beliefs.
If that be so then the demise of reason in the believer is a negative impact on the individual and society.

@SamWiseGingy Have you never heard of Christian apologetics: the intellectual enterprise dedicated to arguments and evidence that shows how reasonable the Christian faith is? In fact, being an unbeliever is an untenable position once you realize how inadequate scientific naturalism or secular humanism (common forms of the atheistic/materialist worldview) is in explaining reality. Look into it for a few months and get back to me.

I'm in a rush and really do not have time to read all these posts, but from what I gather you're thinking very logically, which isn't bad. But when it comes to faith, in many cases we cannot count on our logic. Remember we only use a tiny percentage of our brains which means there is so much more that we don't already know. Another thing is that God is all powerful, SUPERnatural, which means, he can do anything. meaning he's beyond natural, beyond our logic.

The fulfillment of prophecy would be evidence of something supernatural if:
1. The person fulfilling the prophecies had no knowledge of the prophecies prior to fulfilling them. Example there is nothing supernatural about riding on a donkey to fulfill a prophecy.
2. The person reporting the actions of Jesus had no prior knowledge of the prophecies. Records of Jesus fulfilling prophecies are only as reliable as records themselves.
3. The prophecies are unambiguous.

@JemGomez
You have not exhausted the categories. Jesus could have been a legend. Wholesale violations of natural law usually indicate that you are dealing with a legend.
