The Kristian Paradis Quartet performs Choucoune at the Tri-County Performing Arts Center in Pottstown, PA.

Kristian Paradis is an active Philadelphia based steelpan player. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from the University of Delaware in 1999, graduated from the Armed Forces School of Music in 2000, and earned his Masters degree in steel-pan performance from the University of Delaware in 2005. After graduating from the Armed Forces School of Music in 2000, Mr. Paradis became a member of the Seventh Fleet Navy Band in Japan. He served as the drummer for the Show Band Far East Edition, drummer and steel-pan soloist in the Navy Jazz Combo, principal percussionist in the Navy concert and ceremonial band, lead pan player for the Tokyo Panorama Steel Orchestra and the Royal Palms Steel Band, as well as his newest group, De Jumbie Crew. Mr. Paradis has performed around the world, in such countries as Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Germany, and Israel. He currently teaches steel-pan at the University of Delaware.
