Yeah you probably observed an ice cube in a glass of water melting...the ice cube was already displacing a certain volume..as ice is less dense than water..the overall loss in the volume of the ice cube would be a lower increase in the amount of water...that doesn't work so well when you place an ice cube outside the glass and let the water drain into it...this is essentially what will happen if the ice in Greenland and the Antarctic melt...they are not currently displacing (cont)
@FreeAgain2...Absurd...Speak to the president the Maldives. Last year he held an underwater conference to make to point that the Maldives will likely soon need to be abandoned.
um...ok...central florida is NOT the highest point in the state the pensicola region is so wouldnt that be the last to sink not one of the first as shown in this computer model? GIGO garbage in garbage out
