  • @Beale64 So now its "subliminally race driven"? What is that even supposed to mean? It's a new era in bleeding-heart bullshit. And I don't know what planet you called home from 92-00, but the Republicans were none too fond of Clinton, either. Do you recall an impeachment hearing? And now the heinous heifer on whom he cheated holds the dubious title of being the least qualified member of the least qualified presidential cabinet in history.

  • What the fuck. This just proves we're living in some sort of alternate reality. In a dimension where shit made sense, NO ONE WOULD STILL GIVE A SHIT about what dribbles out of the impotent mouth of Jimmy Carter. The man is a complete fool.

  • Yeah and it gets even better...

Joe Wilson was leading the charge over keeping the Confederate battle flag flying over the South Carolina state house.

And he is also a retired Colonel in the National Guard....

  • Joe Wilson is an embarrassment. He is an insult to the code of conduct that his own party claims to stand for.

His shout out is indicative of his own political agenda which is to be divisive.

Where was he when the Bush administration concocted lies to support their invasion of Iraq? Was he just as informed then as he pretends to be now to dishonor the decorum of this political institution? His political agenda is transparent and if it isn't racist , then he would have kept his mouth shut.

  • Jimmy Carter is correct. But pointing out the racists only validates them, makes them bolder. Racism in America thrives. But Obama can't be running around giving a race speech all the time. He's got work to do. Chip Reid might want to focus his attention elsewhere instead of on racist wingnuts. Stop showing us all the idiots in the media.

  • I strongly agree with Jimmy Carter. These extreme right-wing attacks on President Obama seem to be subliminally race-driven. Why didn't Republicans act this way when Bill Clinton was elected President? Jimmy Carter and Bill Maher deserve a lot of credit for pointing this out.

  • Jimmy Carter trying to become relevant. This man who's family owned slaves commenting on racism. That's so rich. This man will say or do anything to get his face in front of a camera including cause racial tensions. Carter was a looser as president (remember double digit unemployment and gas lines, the over through of the Shaw of Iran, the hostages and the botched raid to rescue them? and the Americans who died in the effort?) Carter should go back to Georgia and hide his face in shame forever.
