  • You may want to add Blue Wonder works great on all types of stuff from carbon, copper, and rust build up and will work very heavy duty on bores which have used corrosive ammo such as surplus weapons or even modern military weapons with little or not effort on your part. Interesting video. Thanks for positing.

  • @ratagris21

I will check that out. Thanks for the tip!

  • I used to use lots of cleaners untill I tried ballistol this stuff works wonders. You wont know untill you give it a try.

  • @bulldog10mm

i dunno, I just don't really like using oil as a cleaner. I think oil should only be used for lubrication or rust prevention. just my 2 cents

  • Good video, you said there was two reasons you dont really use the winchester blast cleaner, what was the second reason. And what do you think about the crud cutter on the polymer frames I have a HK.45 USP and the gun store says not to use it but I think it drys so fast it wouldnt ever hurt it. I sprayed it today over a trash can with a bag of trash under it, and it piled up and never wore thru the thin little trash bag so I figured it cant be that bad for the polymer gun handles?

I don't like it b/c it is harmful to synthetic finishes and it dries too fast. I have since changed my mind and do keep it around for general degreasing, but I rarely use it as an all purpose cleaner.

I have used this stuff extensively on my glock and have had no problems. Just don't be judicious in how you use it. This stuff is fine for polymer, you only run into trouble with synthetic-type stocks and finishes. Your USP's frame shouldn't need much cleaning, anyway.

  • Ok, you basically answered my question from the last video in beginning of this one, and when I watched the first video again. Being ammonia free is obviously a big plus, thank you.
