this is a japanese movie. "yomei ikkagetsu no hana yome" or in japanese "余命一ヶ月の花嫁".
the title means the bride with her life lasting for a month.

I haven't seen the movie, I don't know if I want to; but it's so inspirational to see two people so positive despite their situation. I heard that when they made the movie, they didn't rehearse the scene where he watches the "good bye message" after she's already died. They figured they didn't need to; apparently they were right.

the character of the guy is just so decisive in every scene... from wanting to take the relationship seriously, wanting chie to be his, to wanting to meet chie's father, for wanting to be with chie every step of the way, to wanting to be beside chie, for wanting to marry her etc. Is this really a true story on the side of the guy? :)
