Here is my first short and simple tutorial using products from www.PyroDirect.com

I had to do this one first because as I mention in the video, most everything else I do is going to involve this quickmatch.

  • why do you use quickmatch why not use a regular fuze?

  • @desertdude517 Because it is needed when many fireworks need to be ignited at the same time.

  • @Nighthawkinlight couldn't you wire some fuse inbetween like some quick fuse?

  • @desertdude517 Often quickfuse is not quick enough.

  • @Nighthawkinlight did pyrodirect pay you to do this video cause they have your vid on their website

  • @mike12703 They didn't pay me, but they did send me their products for testing.

  • That quickmatch brings not so good memories back from 90's. Comet Bomb had short fuse wrapped inside paper. Of course no one read the instructs so they didn't remove the paper and that caused it to blow up on their faces. Over 300 injuries in one day....

  • pyrocreations is better it has more stuff and its cheap and fast shipping

  • @Nighthawkinlight

are you a licensed professional because you seem pretty experience with this stuff

  • @mike12703 he is pyrodirect:)

  • To make it more like quick fuse, you gotta add more fuse strands. Real quick fuse burns at 1100 feet/s.

  • So um not suspose to use 5 us 1 fuse by itself?

  • very powerful quick match can be made out of coarse black powder and wide masking tape. youu just pour a continuous line of the center of the tape, fold one side over on top of the powder and the other side over the on top of that. ive even done two narrow strips pressed together with powder between.

  • @LancerFIN The key comment there being "Of course no one read the instructs".

  • do you think it would increase the rate at which this quickmatch burns if you used three or four strands of fuse? just a thought since there is more than one piece of black match in real quickmatch.

  • i have a question. what is the ratio of fuse and lift powder?

  • hum... what this shit is supposed to do? Take your time to finally burn like a candle? don't really understood the purpose of that shit =/
