The River Kwai Bridge in Thailand is world famous and a major tourist attraction. Every kilometer built had cost the lives of 38 workers.

In spring 1945 the River Kwai Bridge had been destroyed.

This video covers a train trip from Bangkok to Nam Tok, the terminus. It takes an entire day and costs 200 Baht for a return ticket (5 Euros).
