why wayste $5000 on a track system for a dirt bike when you can find a decent used snowmobile for $5000
-
i thought it meant "woods racer" and people do race wr's, but obviously morein hare scramble type events

Motobloodyhell!!!

hahahahah owned. and i agree, My YZ beats all 4 strokes off the line, but in the end they pass me because my bike only does about 60 mph. :p

450cc have enought power for that!
-
Stock WR? It has a fukin ski on the front of it!
-
WR intentionally have a heavier flywheel and drivetrain to smooth out the power delivery and the power is everywhere. Much better is you are going hard for several hour blasts.

I really dont think so lol My Yz takes the Wr / Crf-x to school everytime i race one , and have ridden a few as well and they just dont feel as fast, close , but simply not as quick.
are they pretty much like yz 450 f's or not cause i know the wr is before they made the yz 450 and this model is a trail model

The WR has more bottom end grunt than the YZ. A stock WR (like the one in the vid) is not even close to a YZ in snow performance. Pipe the WR, jet it, and it's a totally different story. Add one or both cams, and a high comp piston and you'll have a YZ beater.

WR stand for wide range, if you knew wat u were talking about u would know wide range means more speed. Close ratio like in the yz have more acceleration, just less speed...... Thats why u will never see anyone race a wr...

To clarify, a wide range transmission will typically give more TOP speed, (assuming the same final drive gearing) but if you gear your 5 speed YZ up, it can have the same top speed as a WR. If you race a modded WR with a YZ on dirt you may have a different result than the same race on snow- until you ride both bikes on snow, you'll never know
