@shouldigetit Alright sweet. I'm going to get it for Christmas.
-
@H2pachecO3 Its a 60mm, not a 64mm, your have to multiply everything by 1.5 :)
-
@shouldigetit 1.6 is canon, you should learn more
-
@shouldigetit Yes, you are stupido amigo. The crop factor of a Nikon APS-C (DX) camera is 1.5x, it's not a Canon which is a 1.6x. So basically it's a 60 mm equivalent lens.

Where's the review?

@Amcacs5654 It's coming! Sorry, I have been extremely busy lately. If you are wondering if you should get it now, I would say for the price it's well worth it.

I'm confused by the crop factor with DX/FX. Let's say I wanted to get this for my D3100, what would the actual focal length be?

@H2pachecO3 Multiply 40mm by a 1.6x crop factor and its a 64mm equivalent.

@shouldigetit Don't you add a 1.5x crop factor, and not a 1.6x? I thought only Canon had 1.6x....

@sk8dude9999 It is 1.5 on Nikon. Not sure why you got that. Sorry about the confusion.
