This film portrays the stunning musical biography of world famous Brazilian superstar Cazuza, a gay singer, poet, and seductive enfant terrible. He made his claim to fame as vocalist and leader of the popular 1980s rock group "O Vermelho." Cazuza's Brazilian style rock was greatly influenced by revered musicial icons of the 1960s and 1970s such as Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin. His lyrics voice the hopes of a whole generation, symbolizing the middle-class youth rebellion and their strong desire to experience life. Cazuza is uncannily portrayed by the brilliant Daniel de Oliveira, who masterfully captures the intensity of Cazuza's bohemian and hedonistic lifestyle. Cazuza was the first Brazilian artist to publicly acknowledge his struggle with AIDS. In his memory, his mother created the Sociedade Viva Cazuza, supporting HIV & children. This film about the path of an artist for whom time does not stop is a unique experience.

Bom video, e acho também que as legendas vem a calhar pois ajudam na divulgação de músicas realmente boas como a de Cazuza, para que não pensem que a música brasileira se resume as porcarias que a mídia tenta fortalecer lá fora, como axé, pancadão carioca, corno-music e afins.
